Which devices support Scanbooster?
The Scanbooster Ultrasound Sim app is available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets as well as Mac.
Do I need additional hardware?
No. Scanbooster works as a standalone app on one device. Open the app, choose a case and start scanning.
What is the Scanbooster Control app?
When two devices are available, a smartphone can become the virtual transducer. The optional Control app operates the simulation wirelessly on the second device in real time.
What does live labeling do?
It colors important anatomical and pathological structures directly in the running ultrasound simulation. The overlay follows the current scanning plane in real time.
Which cases are included?
The app includes physiological and pathological cases in internal medicine, POCUS, gynecology, obstetrics, prenatal ultrasound, urology, pediatrics, angiology and fetal echocardiography.
Are campus and institutional licenses available?
Yes. Universities, hospitals, skills labs and course providers can obtain an annual Campus License or Institutional License from ten users. Scanbooster Control is always included free.
